The project was to refurbish a hair salon, created in 2003 by the studio.
We needed to create a new image.
We first change the steel staircase, which was a signal visible from the street. We created a golden staircase made up of steel bars of 20 x 50mm that go from the basement to the first floor. It remembered an elegant birdcage.
The space organisation did not change. We worked on designing new dressing tables in the spirit of the 50’s. The vanities were in Finland birch plywood tinged panels of 20mm, finishing varnished and cup of tab. It supported light and sockets. To protect the walls, white shiny subway tiles reinforced the urban aspect of the hair salon.
